The bad ones :
- The last release of XFree, version 3.12 D is based on X11 level 6.1,
the keyboard handling has changed (especially if you use the new KBD
extensions). This completely broke the way Thot handle the Multi-Key
sequences needed for ISO-Latin-1 support.
- Moreover XF 3.12 D got lost if the Alt key si not on Mod1, preventing
to switch the resolution, change to another virtual console or zap the
server using Alt+Ctrl+<Key> combinations.
The good ones :
- I will made available a new version of the Thot binaries soon.
The new version won't change the keyboard mapping and the modifiers
settings. So thot won't conflict anymore with the other apps and the
X server.
- Some improvements needed like the use of cursor keys, Page UP and
Page Down to move in the document are also ready and will be
integrated in this release.
The new release will probably occurs next week, some testing is needed
and is on the way. We would be happy to receive bug reports, if any,
that we will try to correct before next release.
