the Opera team is proud to announce the availability of Thot 1.0 for
Linux. This version is no more considered BETA but this is a 1.0 version,
you know what this mean !
This is mainly an improvement and bugfixes release:
- the ugly keyboard mapping/remapping behaviour had been cleaned.
- Thot now respect the standard Key (Up, Down, PgUp, etc.) for moving
in the documents.
- printing on US Letter paper format should now work, please give us some
feedback on this point
- lot of bugfixes and other improvements...
INSTALLATION instruction for owners of Thot 0.95
The compiled version of the shemas (.STR, .PRS, .TRA files) are incompatible
so you will have to get new ones. I strongly suggest to save the old
installation (e.g. to /usr/local/bin/thot/old), to remove the link
/usr/local/bin/thot and install a fresh new version in /usr/local/thot.
