First note : you're the last persone to have downloaded the
old 0.95, a new version 1.0 is out today ! Please
resubscribe and get the new version ...

For a system wide configuration (you're sure everybody
will prefer English menu) just edit /usr/local/thot/bin/thot
or /usr/local/bin/thot and set the LANG variable to en_US
------------------------
LANG=en_US ; export LANG
------------------------

Otherwise, remove the LANG setting in the file and ask every
users to setup the environment variable accordingly to their
choice.

It is relatively simple to create configuration files for
other languages. Copy the bin/en-* files to new files with the
correct prefix (e.g. en-thotdialogue to de-thotdialogue)
and translate all the messages. Same thing for the schemas/*.en
Then set the LANG variable to the new value (eg: de_DE).

Of course we would be very interested by new version of the
menus. Just send me a mail and download them to
