Th environment varialble LANG allows to configure the editor for the dialog
(see the mailing list (Re: English dialogs for Thot ? 15 Jan 1996).
The language of a document is independent from the language of the dialog.
It is the presentation schema that can provide language-dependent presentation.

Look in the Thot manual or in the mailing list (Re: Thot 1.0 difficulty Tue,
10 Sep 1996) to change the presentation schema of a document.

Last thing about language. There is an attribute "language" that can be set
for every
element of a document (of any granularity). Therefore, documents can be
multilingual
and this information can be used by the system to apply language-dependent
functions (such as correctors and hyphenation).
