 This document lists the platfoms on which Thot Editor has been successfully compiled and the corresponding Target names. The Team development environment is based on Sun-Solaris and PC-Linux machines, so answering specific bug reports for other targets may be difficult.
  • Sun worstations running Solaris 2.5 : solaris2
  • PC running ELF versions of Linux : LINUX-ELF
  • Apha workstations running OSF/1: osf1
  • workstations running AIX 4.1 (RS6000 and powerpc) : RS6000.

A description of the Linux configuration required is described here.

Thot editor has been succesfully compiled for the following plateforms by contributors but binaries versions are not supplied by the opera team:

  • Sun worstations running SunOs 4.1.x : SUN4.
  • PC running a.out versions of Linux.
  • Sun worstations running Linux.
  • SGI worstation running Irix.
